TV’s Interview with the Vampire is an adaptation of the 1976 novel of the same name by Anne Rice. Additionally, elements from Rice’s novel series The Vampire Chronicles are incorporated. When Will Season 2 of Interview with the Vampire be Available for Watching?
The second season of Interview with the Vampire will premiere on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Comparable to the prior season. In its sophomore season, AMC and AMC Plus will air the premiere. The initial season was met with favorable reviews from the critics. As a consequence, AMC approved season 2 prior to the initial chapter’s release.
Cast of Interview With the Vampire Season 2 Release Date
The majority of the ensemble from season one returns for season two. Louis is reprised by Jacob Anderson (Game of Thrones), and Lestat is reprised by Sam Reid (The Newsreader). In addition, Eric Bogosian (Succession) reprises his role as investigative reporter Daniel Molloy, and following the character’s major revelation at the conclusion of the first season, Assad Zaman (Small Axe) brings the vampire Armand to life.

Season 2 also welcomes Ben Daniels (Foundation, The Crown) in the role of Louis’ eventual adversary, the vampire Santiago.

As a guest star, David Costabile contributes to the ensemble of Interview by assuming the persona of Leonard, an experienced television personality who encounters Molloy. Madeleine is portrayed by recurring guest character Roxane Duran (The White Ribbon, Riviera), and ‘Real Rashid’ is portrayed by Bally Gill (Sherwood, Slow Horses).

Interview with the Vampire Season 2 Plot
During the Television Critics Association 2024 press tour, AMC made the following comments on Season 2 of Interview with the Vampire:
“The interview continues in the second season of Interview, which consists of eight episodes and was shot in Prague, Paris, and New Orleans last year. The vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) tells journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian) about his life story in the year 2022.
Louis continues the story of his travels throughout Europe, including his search for Old World vampires and the Theatre Des Vampires in Paris, with Claudia. The story picks up from the bloody events that occurred in New Orleans in 1940 when Louis and teen fledgling Claudia (Delainey Hayles) conspired to kill the vampire Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid).
Louis first encounters Armand, the vampire (Assad Zaman), in Paris. Molloy will delve to uncover the secrets concealed in the memories as their romance and love affair will reveal to have disastrous repercussions in the past and the future.

The first installment of the acclaimed Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice is called Interview with the Vampire. The best-selling 1976 book was originally made into a feature film in 1994, starring Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. Showrunner Rolin Jones split the book in half for the AMC series, with season 1 bringing the first half to life and season 2 exploring the second half.
A few changes have been made to the AMC adaptation from the original source material, the most significant of which is the time period shift from the late 18th and early 19th centuries to the early 20th century.
