The company Kinema Citrus Co. Ltd. was set up on March 3, 2008. The animation company was started by people who used to be in Production I.G. and Bones. Since the studio has been making The Rising Of The Shield Hero, it’s possible that they will also be making the next season.

There is a catch, though! The company that makes cartoons only makes one or two shows a year. Since Cardfight!! Vanguard Will + Dress is set to come back, this could push back the return of The Rising Of The Shield Hero Season 4. This is because the old show is now known as the “D Series,” and the first two seasons will be taken off the air in January 2024.
