The first episode of the Eminence In Shadow anime just came out on October 5, 2022, and fans want to know where they can watch it. The isekai light novel series was very popular, and Kazuya Nakanishi decided to make it into an anime because of how well it was told.
Even though isekai is one of the most popular types of anime, it hasn’t done very well recently. For those who don’t know, Isekai is a subgenre of fantasy where one or more characters are suddenly taken from one world to another that they don’t know. Fans are no doubt very excited about this anime version.
What Is The Story of The Eminence in Shadow Anime?
The anime follows Cig Kagenou, a regular guy who pretends to be a mobster. Over time, he sets up the Shadow Garden organization to become a real mastermind. He is known to pull the strings from the shadows, and he even works up the courage to fight the Diabolos Cult by putting everything on the line.
So, where does the isekai part of this anime show come from? Well, Cid used to live in Japan, and he always wanted to work in the shadows and affect the mob. But in his world, he can’t do that. He is reborn into a magical world, where he finally gets what he has always wanted.
With Shadow Garden in charge, Cid finds new people to join his team to make sure they are strong enough to take over the cult.

HIDIVE, an independent anime streaming service, has bought the rights to show the isekai anime in the US. But as of right now, there isn’t a dubbed version. Fans can watch the same thing with English subtitles over the original Japanese audio.

Synopsis of The Eminence in Shadow Anime
The synopsis of The Eminence in Shadow on the Hidive platform says:
“Some people just aren’t suited to playing the part of the flashy, in-your-face hero or the dastardly, mustache-twirling villain with larger-than-life panache. Instead, they operate in the shadows and pull the strings of society through wit and cleverness. That’s the role Cid wants to play when he’s transported to another world.
“Cid spins a yarn or three and becomes the unlikely leader of the underground Shadow Garden organization that fights against a menacing cult (which he totally made up). However, there’s a catch even his wild imagination didn’t see coming: the cult he concocted actually exists, and they’re beyond displeased that his power fantasy just got in the way of their evil plans!”
