The Lizzie McGuire actress, 36, welcomed her fourth child, her third with husband Matthew Koma, on Friday, May 3, she revealed on Instagram Tuesday. The actress captioned images of her home water birth with a tribute to her newborn baby.
“Townes Meadow Bair, we now know why she made us wait so long…”She was honing those cheekbones!” Duff wrote. “I Have been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months and the past 5 days of getting to know you, stare at you and smell you has been pure moments of magic.”

“We all love you as if you had always been here, beauty. “5/3/24,” the new mother of four stated in her post. The pair has two children, Mae James, 2½, and Banks Violet, 5, and Duff’s oldest child, Luca Cruz, 11, is co-parented with her ex-husband, Mike Comrie.

“On 5/3/24, at home, my literal warrior goddess of a wife delivered our beautiful Townes Meadow Bair,” Matthew wrote in an Instagram post, adding, “She’s happy, healthy, chunky, and looks like no one in our genetic pool; therefore, if anyone knows the whereabouts of @hilaryduff as of now, approximately nine months ago, please contact us in exchange for a monetary reward.”

In December 2023, Duff and Koma shared the news of their third pregnancy via Instagram and a family Christmas card that read, “So much for silent evenings. “With affection, the Duff-Bair-Comrie Crew,” the message continued, “Buckle up Buttercups, we’re doubling this crazed group!”
Duff and Koma also have two daughters, Mae James, 2, and Banks Violet, 5, in addition to the neonate. Additionally, the two serve as co-parents of Duff’s eleven-year-old daughter, Luca Cruz, with her former spouse, Mike Comrie.

Speaking to People in 2021, Duff stated that she enjoys the “mayhem” of raising three children. “I have help, but newborns just want their mother. Even Luca still says, ‘Mom, Mom, Mom.’ Mom cooks the food correctly, and she packs the bag correctly. It’s wild,” said the Lizzie McGuire actress, before adding, “I love when everyone is pumped up and the place is humming. You never know what the day may hold, or what your children will say. We’re in the middle of it, and it feels great.”
