Congress sweeps Nanded Waghala municipal elections, won 73 out of 81

The Congress Party has registered one sided victory and managed to retain its control in the Nanded municipality, the home turf of Maharashtra’s former chief minister Ashok Chavan. The Nanded Waghala municipality recorded 60 per cent voter turnout on Wednesday. Congress has won 73 out of the total 81 seats. BJP has managed to win six seats.
