Gujarat Elections 2017: Three Muslim MLAs elected in Gujarat Assembly compared to two in 2012

Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Assembly has seen a sharp dip in Muslim representation in the state legislative Assembly in the past three decades, reflective of the sharp religious polarisation in the state. But this time, Three Muslim MLAs have been elected to Gujarat Assembly as compared to two in 2012.
