Google Doodle celebrates Urdu writer Abdul Qavi Desnavi’s 87th birthday

Search engine giant Google today celebrated literary critic and Urdu writer and linguist Abdul Qavi Desnavi’s 87th birthday through its doodle. Desnavi is known for his huge contribution towards the enrichment of Urdu language. Designed by guest artist Prabha Mallya, The doodle showed Desnavi wearing a black bandhgala sitting in the middle and writing. The letters of the ‘Google’ were also given a calligraphic touch.
