Vick Hope identifies as a Swiftie, notwithstanding the fact that her spouse has a past with Taylor Swift. On Monday (April 8), Calvin Harris’ spouse revealed on her BBC Radio 1 program Going Home with Vick, Katie and Jamie that during his absence, she listens to the DJ’s ex-girlfriend.
“Upon my husband’s departure, I immediately begin listening to Taylor Swift,” she conceded. “That’s precisely when I get my little fill — a couple of songs, just a little fill — to get it out of my system, and it’s done.”
Harris and Hope began courting in early 2022, and by the end of the same year, they had become engaged. They exchanged vows in a tent situated on the premises of Hulne Priory in Alnwick, Northumberland, in September 2023.
“You know what, I was completely inundated with interest in it; however, I prefer to keep my personal life private,” Hope told Hello! The magazine previously regarding their relationship. “This is something about my private life that I’ve never truly encountered before; however, it’s just for us.”
In 2015, Swift and Harris were together for almost a year and a half. It came out in July 2016 that Swift co-wrote Harris’s hit song “This Is What You Came For” under a fake name. Following the news, Harris sent out several angry tweets (which have since been removed) in which he said Swift was attempting to “tear” him down.
Later that year, Harris talked about the event and said, “It was completely the wrong instinct.” “I was trying to keep what I think is my one talent from being pushed down.” Things seemed to be piling up on top of me, and that’s when I lost it.
