In the second season, John B. and Sarah Cameron get married informally on a boat as they head back to the Outer Banks. They say their vows and John B. rips a piece of his bandana for Sarah to wear around her neck instead of a ring.

But no one was there to see it. So, they are not married by law.

Carla Limbrey’s Pursuit of the Garment of the Christ

Throughout season 2 of Outer Banks, Elizabeth Mitchell’s character Carla Limbrey searches for the Cross of Santo Domingo. Yet, she has no interest in gold. Instead, she pursues the mythological cloak, the Garment of the Christ, which is supposed to have healing abilities.

She does not obtain the shroud in season 2, but at the end of the season, she joins forces with Big John in the hopes that he can help her locate it. He pledges to assist Limbrey if she assists him in locating John B.

Limbrey’s Meeting With Big John in Bridgeport, Barbados

In “The Coastal Venture,” the last episode of Season 2, the Pogues were stuck. Even though they tried very hard to get the cross, Rafe finally gets it. The Camerons and the cross are sailing away when the Pogues get away in a lifeboat.
