Chloë Grace Moretz Confirms She Has Met With Marvel Studios!

Since Iron Man launched the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2008, Marvel Studios has done a fantastic job of populating their superhero universe with both fresh talent and seasoned Hollywood actors. And as the franchise begins to introduce characters like Mr. Fantastic, Professor X, and Wolverine into the fray, that trend is only going to continue.

There are many names that have been linked to various roles throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) over the years, including Glen Powell and Henry Cavill. Chloe Grace Moretz is another person that many people have wished would join the franchise.

The young actress made her acting debut in the 2010 film Kick-Ass as Hit-Girl, and since then she has enjoyed a successful career in Hollywood. Thus, it was only a matter of time before the actress became the subject of MCU casting rumors, and it appears that this casting wish may be about to come true.

The Entry of Chloe Grace Moretz into the MCU

Actress Chloe Grace Moretz revealed in an interview with ComicBook.com that she has spoken with Marvel Studios about possibly joining the MCU.

Mortez replied, “Yeah, we’ve talked a little bit about it,” when asked if she had ever met with the studio. In addition, the actress said she would be “very interested in playing a villain in Marvel or DC,” hopefully “jumping into more of the darker side of the role.”

The Kick-Ass star did not rule out the possibility of playing a superhero once more, saying that it could “be really fun if it was the right role and the right project:”

Who Could Chloë Grace Moretz Play?

Who could Chlo Grace Moretz be playing if she has indeed met with Marvel about possibly joining the MCU is the million-dollar question at this point?

Moretz would be a perfect fit for where Marvel Studios is going, especially with a specific young group of mutants on the horizon, as the franchise’s cast of characters starts to skew younger with actors like Florence Pugh, Hailee Steinfeld, and Tom Holland. And if Mortez were to join, that might be the area of the MCU where she would fit in the best.

There are many X-Men characters that Mortez would be perfect as on the big screen, whether it be as someone like Jean Grey on the heroic side of things or Mystique on the villain side.

In a potential Spider-Man 4 movie, the actress could also appear alongside Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. Mortez might be the ideal choice if Marvel Studios decides to introduce Gwen Stacy at some point in the future.

The outcome of these meetings between Chloe Grace Moretz and Marvel Studios is currently unknown, but the actress would be a great fit for many roles in the MCU in the future.
