Loki Season 2 (2022) Everything

Loki Season 2 (2022): Loki is an American television series based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name, produced by Michael Waldron for the Disney+ streaming service.

It is Marvel Studios’ third television series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and it follows the events of the films in the franchise.

Release Date

The release date for Loki season 2 has yet to be determined. It’s possible, though, that it will reappear in 2023, depending on fresh information.

According to Collider, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige stated in 2021 that season 2 might not begin filming until 2023.

Who Will Return for Loki Season 2?

Despite the fact that Marvel has yet to announce any of its returning cast members – with the exception of Hiddleston – a couple of the show’s supporting cast members have confirmed their participation:

No surprises there. According to Hiddleston, “deep, deep conversations” have taken place about what Loki season 2 would entail, and it will be “full of even more” shocks.

“We’d love to offer you anything but we can’t,” Hiddleston remarked at MCM London Comic-Con 2021, according to

Regardless, Hiddleston told Variety that he wants to keep following Loki’s journey to redemption “I get that the audience adores Loki and wants him to succeed.

They exhort him to heal fences with his brother and become the hero he can be.

“‘I can pick my path and do the right thing,’ he comprehends. In a circle of trust and betrayal, I choose not to repeat past tactics. It’s exciting to preserve Loki’s unique traits while enabling him to perform new music.”

On the other hand, Hiddleston revealed to Variety that his role as the trickster god isn’t permanent. “I’m a temporary torchbearer,” he said. “I’ve always believed that. Fantastic part.

The trickster god is an archetype. For now, I’m simply interpreting. Loki has been there for millennia and will continue to be around for decades to come.”

What can we guess about the show’s next episode for now? An early season 2 plot element should be Loki’s debut in a different TVA.

Waldron told that the season 1 finale had “many variants” but this one seemed perfect for the program. Then Loki wakes up in an unfamiliar TVA, surrounded by familiar faces, but no one knows who he is.

Season 2’s first two episodes may go one of two ways. To stop Kang (Jonathan Majors), Mobius questions Loki about who he is.

So, Mobius and Loki can restart their buddy cop relationship from the first season, which fans hoped to see more of before Sylvie arrived.

A close buddy of Kang, the time-traveling evil genius from Marvel comics.

Asked about Renslayer’s character path, Mbatha-Raw said in an interview with Digital Spy: “To be honest, I’m not sure. I see a lot of promise, particularly in dealing with time as Renslayer does.”

Meanwhile, Di Martino tells Elle he doesn’t know what Sylvie has planned, “I’m not acquainted with Season 2. I’m not sure how different it will be from season 1. I’m not convinced she’ll change before we meet again. I’m not sure where she is or how she feels. The multiverse complicates even that assumption.”
