’90s comedy ‘Wings’ pilot Alex Lambert, played by Farrah Forke, has died, according to reports from Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, People, and Deadline. She was 54 years old.

A family friend tells Deadline, People, and Variety that Forke died of cancer on February 25 at her home in Texas.

Co-star Steven Weber of “Wings” also shared the news of Forke’s death on social media.

Weber captioned a photo of Forke with the words “Farrah Forke has died. Her character ‘Alex’ on ‘Wings’ was every bit as tough, hilarious, attractive, and grounded as she was in real life.

In a Texas version of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” Forke made his acting debut. The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City was her next stop after moving to the Big Apple. “Brain Twisters” is Forke’s first prominent role in a sci-fi horror film.

From its fourth to its sixth season, Forke appeared on “Wings” as one of its key characters. Additionally, she appeared in the sitcom “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,” starring Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher. In the second season of the ABC comedy-adventure series, Forke played investigator Mayson Drake.

After starring parts in “Wings,” “Lois & Clark,” and “Mr Rhodes,” Forke landed roles as Carey and Nikki Hardin in the sitcoms “Dweebs” and “Mr Rhodes.”. “Justice League Unlimited” featured Forke’s final appearance as a voice actor.

Daughters Chuck and Wit are left to carry on the legacy of Forke’s father, her mother, and her three sisters: Paige Inglis, Jennifer Sailor, and Maggie Talmage, all of whom were raised by her stepfather, Chuck Talmage.

According to THR, Forke’s funeral was held in a small gathering of close family and friends.

Instead of flowers, the family requested that supporters donate to the American Cancer Society or another worthy cause.
