On Hope Street, we saw that the local chef Fergus was attacked by a mugger at the close of the first season. However, Concepta later witnesses the offender and determines with certainty that he works at the golf club.

Both Callum and Marlene visit the club and later look for Eddie McNulty, who is seen on CCTV sporting fresh injuries.

After that, Leila is perplexed by Finn’s cold response to the suspect until she discovers that Eddie was once involved with Finn’s wife Siobhan.

The larger surprise comes later when she goes to arrest him. However, after Finn’s daughter, Niamh goes missing, he and his ex-lover Laila are reunited.

Siobhan adds that Niamh had an ordered boyfriend in Belfast and the question is, has she seen him? which surprises the anxious father. After finding CCTV footage of Niamh being driven away from her friend’s house in a van, Callum’s investigation takes a dramatic turn. We’ll have to wait and see.
