Centaurworld Season 2 : How Far We Know About It? | Will Be There A Third Season?

If you haven’t seen “Centaurworld,” it’s tough to describe. The short version is that it’s a lighthearted 10-episode musical with shocking adult themes and dark overtones, making it one of Netflix‘s most intriguing new releases (among several). The short version: it’s about a warhorse (played by the versatile and excellent Kimiko Glenn) who gets caught in the multiverse and ends up stranded in a The lollipop-and-gumdrop aesthetics, as well as the bizarrely horrific creatures — almost all of whom are centaurs — make this a Dr. Seuss-esque hellscape.

To explore this new realm and return to her home planet, the warhorse, suitably named Horse, teams up with an alpaca, giraffe, zebra, finch, gazelle, ficus tree, and hippopotamus (all centaurs, by the way).

Talking leaves, aloof mermen, narcissistic tigers, judicial moles, and really tragic themes, followed by unexplainable powers of evil, get in their way.

It’s a unique blend of absurdism and somberness, and the show’s unsolved questions have fans excited for Season 2. Will it maintain that balance, Will it take the dark turn that made the first season such a standout in Netflix’s cartoon roster, or will it embrace the dark turn that made it such a standout in Netflix’s cartoon lineup?

When Would the Second Season of Centaurworld Be Released?

Season 2 of Centaurworld released on Dec 7 2021 on Netflix. Netflix has been tight-lipped regarding “Centaurworld’s” future, but according to a September 2019 press release, the streaming giant committed to 20 episodes at first. Only ten of those episodes have been aired thus far, so a second season is almost probably in the works, even though Netflix hasn’t announced it yet. So, since it’s not a matter of “if,” it’s a matter of “when” – when can fans expect to see the next 10 episodes?

Centaurworld Season 2

Second, on July 30th, 2021, the first season of “Centaurworld” was released. That’s a hefty 23 months of production for those keeping track at home, although fans will almost probably not have to wait that long for Season 2. Our best bet for “Centaurworld” Season 2 is sometime in mid-2022, based on the previous ten episodes and the existing cast of performers, writers, and animators.

Who Would Also Appear in Season 2 of Centaurworld?

The voice and musical talent assembled for the cast was one of Season 1’s defining features. Megan Hilty (Wammawink), Parvesh Cheena (Zulius), Chris Diamantopoulos (Ched), Josh Radnor (Durpleton), and showrunner Megan Nicole Dong joined actress Kimiko Glenn (Glendale).

The return of any of these cast members has yet to be confirmed by Netflix, but they represented the show’s core ensemble of characters. And the plot of “Centaurworld” mandates that they all return in important roles, barring any serious creative differences or contract disputes (especially Dong as Glendale since she, you know, literally runs the show).

Supporting cast members like actresses Jessie Mueller (Rider), Renée Elise Goldsberry (Waterbaby), and Lea Salonga (the Mysterious Woman) will also return to play important roles in the ongoing storey, if the cliffhanger ending of Season 1 is any indication.

However, apart from either the Season 1 suspects, who else might appear is anyone’s guess. At this moment, Netflix has been made no mention of any new characters or cast members for future episodes.

Centaurworld Season 2

“I believe after building this universe [in Season 1], I’d love to take it to various places, meet different centaurs, different communities that we haven’t seen before, and kind of explore areas that we haven’t explored,” Dong said. However, I’d like to show more of the lore and past. So learning more about its past is something I’d like to accomplish.”

As previously said, there is currently no official release date, but stay tuned for more “Centaurworld” news in the coming months.

Release Date of Centaurworld Season 3

Season 2 of ‘Centaurworld’ was published on Netflix in its entirety on December 7, 2021. The second season consists of eight episodes, each of which lasts about half an hour.

Here’s all we know about the upcoming third season. Season 3 will not be released until Netflix makes an official announcement. When the show was first proposed to the streaming service, it was decided on a 20-episode order. Seasons 1 and 2 have a total of 18 episodes, leaving two more episodes to complete the contract. As a result, it’s difficult to say if the show will be renewed for another season or just a few special episodes.

Megan Nicole Dong is indeed the showrunner for the upcoming kids animated series. She worked as a storey artist on DreamWorks Animation’s ‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’ and ‘Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie’ before becoming the supervising director on Netflix’s ‘Pinky Malinky.’

Centaurworld Season 2

Megan’s excitement leading up to the release of the second season was evident, leading us to believe she could be interested in releasing further episodes. ‘Centaurworld’ debuted alongside a slew of other Netflix original animated shows, including ‘City of Ghosts,’ ‘Kid Cosmic,’ ‘Battle Kitty,’ ‘Maya and the Three,’ and ‘Trash Truck.’

Whereas the destiny of ‘City of Ghosts’ and a few other shows remains unknown, ‘Kid Cosmic’ has been renewed for a third season, and ‘Maya and the Three’ has been made into a miniseries. As a result, when it comes to Netflix’s animated shows, there is no fixed pattern. Considering the various paths taken by all of the shows described above, anything is possible in terms of the future of ‘Centaurworld.’ Given the short time gap between seasons 1 and 2, we should expect new episodes to emerge soon if ‘Centaurworld’ gets greenlit for season 3 soon. As a result, the third season of ‘Centaurworld’ is planned to launch in Q2 2022.
