Kim Kardashian Net Worth and Income in 2021

Model, actress, and entrepreneur, Kimberly Noel Kardashian West is a well-known media personality in the United States. Kim Kardashian first came to public attention as Paris Hilton’s stylist and friend, but her fame grew after a sex tape from her time with ex-boyfriend Ray J in 2002 was brought to light in 2007. As of writing the proud mother of four has amassed a net worth of $1 Billion.

Kim Kardashian’s Net Worth 2021

Forbes estimates Kim’s net worth at $1 billion as of April 2021. According to the magazine, the majority of Kim Kardashian West’s fortune emanates from her KKW Beauty and SKIMS clothing brands, as well as endorsement deals and smaller investments.

But how this Los Angles Diva became so rich? Let’s find out.

KW Beauty & Fragrance

Following in the footsteps of  Kylie Jenner’s successful Kylie Cosmetics line, the reality TV star launched her own KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance lines in 2017.

As reported by Forbes, in just a few hours her first KKW Beauty launch of 300,000 contour kits was sold out, earning her over $14 million. The very next year, Kim added lipsticks, concealers, and perfumes to her line before selling a 20% stake in the company to Coty, a global cosmetics company.

In addition, the star still owns a 72 percent stake in the $500 million company.

SKIMS

SKIMS used to go by the name ‘Kimono’ and is now “ is “a solutions-oriented firm developing the next generation of lingerie” and “form-fitting apparel.” Despite initial backlash and a name change, Kim’s latest venture which she launched in 2019 was a huge success and had reportedly brought in over $12 million. According to Forbes, the mother-of-four owns a $225 million stake in SKIMS.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians

KUWTK was a remunerative career option for the whole Kardashian family until the show aired its final episode in September.

Showbiz Cheat Sheet, a media company, reports, that each member of the family earns about $930,000 per episode.

During an interview with David Letterman on the talk show ‘My Guest Needs No Introduction’ the KUWTK alum said “We would not be who we are today without Keeping Up with the Kardashians and that’s why we continue to share our lives.”

Social Media Endorsements

Insta influencers get paid thousands, if not millions of dollars each time they promote a brand, and the social media empress is no exception to this rule.

Speaking on the Pretty Big Deal podcast with Ashley Graham in 2018, Kim mentioned making $1 million off of certain Instagram posts. However, according to Hopper HQ’s 2020 Instagram Rich List, her average is more like $858,000 per year.

Lavish Homes and Properties

The current base price of Kim Kardashian’s McMansion is priced at $60 million. The mansion is designed by Belgian architect Axel Vervoordt.

In addition, the couple bought a 3,900-square-foot house with four bedrooms on a 4.5-acre lot adjacent to their primary residence, allowing them to expand their compound. What is the cost? A whopping $2.975 million, to be precise. They’ve also paid $2.7 million for an adjacent lot, which is only 1.5 acres large. However, buying out your neighbors for privacy is an experience that cannot be valued.

To add to their growing real estate holdings, Kim and Kanye bought a piece of land in the upscale Coachella Valley town of La Quinta, where the recent season of ABC’s The Bachelorette was filmed. Both Kris and Kylie Jenner have homes in the same neighborhood, and the Jenners paid $6.3 million for two acres of land.

The Kardashians are well-known for gracing social media. It doesn’t matter where you go or what you do, they will find new ways into your life. Kim is no stranger to such a lifestyle. The social media diva has amassed enormous wealth and power in the makeup and fashion industries in the last ten years. There is no doubt she has profited handsomely from this venture.
