Abu Asim Azmi hands over his Colaba Hotel as quarantine facility for police personnel
Mumbai: Samajwadi Party (SP) Maharashtra state president and MLA from Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar, Abu Asim Azmi has offered his centrally located Hotel at Colaba as a quarantine facility for Police personnel serving in South Mumbai.
The Gulf Hotel – just 5 minutes’ walk away from Gateway of India is located in one of the State capital’s posh locality known as Colaba.
Talking about the importance of being at home to contain the pandemic, he said, “The police personnel are out to perform their duty and we should stay at home to do our duty”.
Alhamdulillah, I am pleased to inform that on the request of Sr. PI – Colaba Police Station have handed over my Gulf Hotel in Colaba to @mybmc & @MumbaiPolice as a quarantine center for Police Personnels serving in South Mumbai.

The Mankhurd MLA is among the richest elected members in Maharashtra Assembly constituted in 2019. He has been holding Mankhurd constituency for three consecutive terms since 2009.
