Solapur (Maharashtra): As a part of service to humanity one of the leading non-governmental organization Jamiat-e-Ahle Hadees, Solapur has organized blood donation camp in coordination with Athar Blood Bank on Sunday.
250 people participated in the blood donation camp held in Social high school. Jamiat is organizing such camps since past four year successfully. This was the twelfth camp which received very good response from all age groups.
Athar Blood Bank was founded in 2012 and run by Athar Minorities Social and Welfare Association.
Vice president of the Solapur Jamiat Abdul Aziz Shaikh informed theShahab.com that they are conducting these camps to create awareness among Muslim community and service to humanity.
It is noteworthy that this Solapur unit of Jamiat Ahle Hadees is actively taking part in social activities like providing free ration to economically deprived people. The ration package includes rice, wheat, sugar, tea, dates, dry fruits and dal etc.
