“Nation wants to know if Arnab will resign and quit journalism”, asks Rajdeep
Veteran journalist Rajdeep Sardesai on Tuesday called out Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-Chief of Republic TV lie in two tweets. Tweeting with a link of a YouTube video with the title “Arnab Goswami talking on Gujarat Riot (sic)”, Sardesai said, “Wow! My friend Arnab claims his car attacked next to CM Res in Guj riots! Truth:he wasn’t covering Ahmedabad riots!!”

Nalin Mehta and Sanjeev Singh, two senior journalists who used to work with Sardesai and who were on the ground with him to report Gujarat riots, testified that Arnab is lying.
Astonishing revelation considering Arnab wasn't in Gujarat when this incident took place with @sardesairajdeep. @bhavatoshsingh @nalinmehta https://t.co/HphTLSAs2j

Absolutely. @sardesairajdeep cameraman Narendra & others came back to @sanjeevrsingh office/house after incident with glass all over them. https://t.co/eflLWJgr64

Although a day after latter’s video had mysteriously disappeared from YouTube. (See below to watch the video)
Sardesai, now a consulting editor with India Today TV, asked his former colleague if he will resign and quit journalism now that his lies had been put out in public.
In a series of tweets, Sardesai wrote, “I now ask a simple direct question: nation wants to know if Arnab will resign and quit journalism if his story turns out to be false?”

Sardesai also said the cameraman accompanying him during the Gujarat riots coverage will soon speak the truth on camera.
He wrote, “First lie, now cover up with more lies. Rupen Pahwa, cameraperson in car when we were attacked, coming on cam to tell all! Watch this space!”

Tweeting a video from two years ago of his ex-colleague Arnab Goswami, he followed up with a barrage of tweets, calling Goswami a “feku” which made Sardesai feel “sorry for [his] profession”.
In the video, Goswami explains that men armed with trishuls attacked his car and asked for the identities of him and his driver. While Goswami had his press card to show, his driver did not, but he had a tattoo/imprint of “he raam” on his arm, which the mob saw and so allowed them to pass.

Goswami’s speech was apparently made in front of a crowd at Assam, when Congress was in power.
