Aurangabad: South Central Railway (SCR) has announced special trains to clear extra rush of passengers attending three day Ijtema, taking place in Aurangabad from February 24.
The Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) – Gulbarga train (01075) will run on February 22. It will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 04:40 pm. It is expected to reach Gulbarga next day on 4 am. The scheduled halts are Kalyan, Karjat, Lonavala, Pune, Kurduwadi and Solapur.
Gulbarga – Aurangabad train (01321) will run on February 23. It will leave Gulbarga at 12:55 pm. It is expected to reach Aurangabad next day on 4 am. The scheduled halts are Solapur, Kurduwadi, Osmanabad, Latur, Latur Road, Parli and Parbhani.
The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSTM) – Aurangabad train (01181) will run on February 24. It will leave Mumbai CST at 12:20 am. It is expected to reach Aurangabad same day on 8:30 am. The scheduled halts are Dadar, Kalyan, Kasara, Igatpuri, Nasik Road and Manmad.
Returning from Aurangabad
The train (01322) will leave Aurangabad on February 26 at 9 pm and is scheduled to arrive at Gulbarga next day by 11:30 am.
The train (01076) will leave Gulbarga on February 27 at 6 pm and is scheduled to arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) next day by 5 am.
The train (01182) will leave Aurangabad on February 26 at 7:50 pm and is scheduled to arrive at Mumbai CST next day by 4:20 am.
The state level Tablighi Jamaat Ijtema (convention) is scheduled to be held from February 24 to 26 near Limbe Jalgaon village in Gangapur taluka of Aurangabad District in which 23 districts are likely to participate.
Earlier, Waluj police have denied permission for Ijtema citing their inability to manage traffic and other arrangements in a letter to the Sarpanch of Limbe Jalgaon Syed Anees Aamir Patel on February 14 but later granted the permission after the Ijtema organizing committee has completed all the formalities.
