Mumbai-Muslim NGO’s step forward to fight for social Justice and betterment

Mumbai: An attempt to make strong federation of all the like minded Non Governmental Muslim Organizations, On 28 August Mumbai based NGO LIFE IN LIGHT in association Chatrapati Shivaji Muslim Brigade had called a meeting of all the prestigious social educational Muslim bodies at khilafat house.

As per the press release posted to media persons all the attendees have agreed to form a strong federation of Mumbai Muslims to fight for justice, educational improvement and other rights.



During meeting members agreed to protest the circular Recently issued by BMC (Brahn Mumbai Municipal Corporation) instructing its schools to implement Singing of Vande Mataram song compulsorily.

One more point was during Eid-ul-Adha (Baqar Eid) Muslims should avoid Qurbani ( Sacrifice) of banned animals, we should respect the law and to co-operate with govt. authorities to maintain law and order.

Spokesman of Chatrapati Shivaji Muslim Brigade Akif Dafedar told Theshahab. com that formation of this kind federation is need of the hour. He said that our people should come forward to put their say in a democratic way on social issues. Akif said, supporting Maratha, Dalit social and other  movements  is also needful. Response was very good so many eminent personalities have attended the Meeting and guided us, Now we can hope favourable results, added Akif.



According to President of Life in light Shakil Patni we have to concentrate on Education first. Our so many organization are working in their respective fields, if our youths and organization make any template plan for the betterment of the community collectively, it will be more fruitful and result oriented, he said.

Sr. Police Inspector (Retd.) Raghunath Mhale felicitated in for his meritorious service.
