Aurangabad – AIMIM students wing demands to write Municipal sign board in Urdu

Aurangabad (Maharashtra): Assaududdin Owaisi led All India Majlis-e-Ittihadul Muslimeen is commonly known for raising emotional issues. But on Tuesday its Aurangabad student wing has set up an example by including Urdu language’s promotion in their agenda.

Students wing President Mazhar Pathan, Muhaimin Khan and other office bearers met Municipal commissioner Moglekar and Mayor Bapu Ghadamode under the leadership of Gaffar Qadri. They submitted a memorandum demanding Urdu to be included on display Sign board of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation.



Everybody loves their mother tongue and whenever they get a chance to see or read it from some unexpected source they feel proud about it. In the same way Muslims too Love their mother tongue Urdu very much which become associated to Muslims only after partition.

Unfortunately, now practical measures to protect and promote Urdu, a Hindustani language has become debatable topic among its claimants (Muslims).

Speaking with theshahab.com Mazhar pathan said, “We respect our state language Mararthi a lot but Urdu is our Mother tongue. And Urdu being our language, we are responsile for its respect, hounour and promotion”. We are working towards the same, added Mazhar.

A Mumbai based eminent Urdu poet Haamid Iqbal Siddiqi said that Urdu people are only responsible for its sorry state. He also syas, Condition of our mother toungue is worsening day by day. If we are really serious in protecting Urdu then we have to arrange all technical and higher Education books in Urdu, Hammid added further.



According to secretary Muhaimin khan, concerned authorities have sincerely heard their say and assured to take favourable decision soon.

Shafiq Patel (Central President), Shahroz Siddiqui (East President), Sami Ali Khan, Mohammad Nawaz Qureshi ,Sk Mustaqim and Nehal Siddiqui were also part of the delegation.
