Solapur (Maharashtra): A zilla parishad primary school in a remote taluka of Solapur district in Maharashtra has bagged the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2015 certification, This is the second to get such recognition among Urdu schools in entire District.
Now a days Beautiful classrooms, Maintaining Cleanliness in the school, providing other facilities to the students and involvement of the parents have slowly become integral part of the teaching learning process. Each and every school is joining this race to attract more and more students.
As a token of recognition and honour for maintaining school nicely and performing well in academic, cultural and sports field zilla parishad run Aurad (south Solapur) Urdu primary school has managed to achieve the feat of obtaining International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification.
ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 163 national standards bodies. Through its members, it brings together experts to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
Before awarding certificate, ISO follows strict criteria of 43 points. which includes records, emergency exit, first Box sports, cleanliness, equipment, lab, library, plantation, parking area, Toilet facility, drinking water, Shoe stand and students complaint box etc.
The said school is established in 2008. It is currently imparting education through medium upto std. VIII. Solapur is known for Urdu schools. It has nearly 67 zilla parishad run primary and upper primary schools.
Senior teacher Amjad Inamdar Spoke to theshahab.com and said that providing good infrastructure, attractive class rooms and other facilities help to impart quality education. He said that our Head Master Zulfikar Mujawar, other staff members Arif Karnool and Muzaffar Shaikh work hard and we always involve parents and locals in school activities, he added.
Head Master Zulfiqar Mujawar thanked ISO for recognising their services. He said that we have made our school digital and we always give stress on cleanliness to create good learning atmosphere.
