Pune: Some Muslim clerics have supported RSS belief of “Akhand Bharat” in Pune. In a meeting educationist P A Inamdar and Muslims clerics have said that reunion of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan into India is call of the hour to keep India prosperous and peaceful.
During the meeting held in Rangoonwala College of Dental Science situated in Azam Campus, Pune, Inamdar with others in agreement has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to unite Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan into one nation as India. This is very rare when Muslims have openly supported RSS dream of making Akhand Bharat.
Under the banner of Awami Mahaz, a social organization 200 clerics from different mosques, trusties and Muslim social workers has gathered on Friday July 14, 2017 in Azam Campus, Pune to condemn the killings of Amarnath Yatra.
In a press release, they said that Azam campus condemns the attack on Amarnath pilgrims and attacks on Muslims happening across country and believes that peaceful borders are only solution to peaceful country.
The program was presided by P A Inamdar, chairman Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society (MCES), Director Azam Campus and chairman Awami Mahaz and attended by Maulana Nizamuddin Fakhruddin (Member, All India Muslim Personal Law board), Maulana Ayub Ashrafi (President Sunni Jamat, Pune), Mufti Ahmad Hasan (All India Imam Council), Anees Chishti and Maulana Shabih Ahsan Kazmi etc.
What resolution says
“We condemn the killing of innocents going to Amarnath Yatra in Jammu Kashmir on July 10, 2017. We pay homage to the ones who got killed due to inhumane firing and we stand with the families of the dead.
Until and unless the borders of India are peaceful we won’t be able to achieve economical, societal and educational development. Tensions at borders are leading to enormous expenditures and development work is stalled.
The division made by British was unnatural so we request honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi to use all military options and unite Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan to make Akhand Bharat. The dream saw by Indian leaders before and after independence will come true and India will become most powerful country in the world.”
Amid all this, a section of Muslim society has criticized this resolution and says that Inamdar and clerics have pushed the community in the dark by shaking hands with satan. They also demanded Inamadar’s resignation from chairmanship of MCE Society. People who were part of protest happened against mob lynching in Pune has declare Inamdar’s step as suicidal.
RSS view of Akhand Bharat
In response to Al Jazeera anchor Mehdi Hasan, Ram Madhav (RSS spokeperson) once said, “The RSS still believes that one day these parts, which have for historical reasons separated only 60 years ago, will again, through popular goodwill, come together and Akhand Bharat will be created.”
